Giuseppe SPALLAROSSA was born in Bogliasco August 7th, 1955 from a family of builders; from his early age he began to attend the various sites of the father and to get passionate about engineering and architecture.

He graduated in construction engineering at the Faculty of Genoa January 30th, 1980 with the thesis "The restructuring of Poggio Verezzi" regarding the revitalization and recovery of a medieval building being abandoned on the Ligurian coast.

On 09th July 1980 he became a civil engineer at the order of Engineers of the Province of Genoa with number 5610.

Just graduated he joined the engineer Luciano Grossi Bianchi’s office. During this experience, he worked at several projects and he had the opportunity to know and collaborate with famous exponents of "Modern" architecture as the engineer Daneri, architects Franco Albini, Gardella and Gambaciani.

In 1986, he founded his own firm named "Giuseppe SPALLAROSSA ing” dealing with architecture and engineering, located in Genova, Piazza San Matteo, number 19.

In the following years, with the increase of the work, the office is strengthened by many new architects and engineers who are still present today.

From 1981 to 1986 Giuseppe SPALLAROSSA was assistant to the architectural design and composition courses at the Faculty of Architecture in Genova.

From 1983 to 1985 he was a consultant for public works for the City of Bogliasco.

From 1993 to 1996 he was a member of the Building Committee of the Municipality of Genoa (Commissione Edilizia del Comune di Genova) on behalf of the National Institute of Urban Planning.

From 1993 to 1996 he was a member of the Commission Freelancers Order of Engineers of Genoa (Commissione Liberi Professionisti).

Since 1994 he is member of the Technical Committee of the Chamber of Commerce (Commissione Tecnica della Camera di Commercio) to prepare the Price list of the materials and construction works.

From 1995 to 1996 he was a member of the Commission of Integrated Building (Commissione Edilizia Integrata) for the practices of amnesty building of the Municipality of Genoa.

In 1996 he was a member of the Commission of Engineers (Commissione dell’Ordine degli Ingegneri) to examine the integral version of the PRG Municipality of Genoa.

Since 1997 he is a consultant and designer of the order of the Sisters Somasche.

Since 2002 he is member of the Building Committee (Commissione Edilizia) of the City of Lumarzo.
